Jason Justin "Jay" Millard

Jason “Jay” Millard, 42 of Hixson, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 in Chattanooga. As a child, he loved to run and wrestle for the Hixson Wildcats. He was of the Christian faith. Jay was a duck hunting enthusiast and loved motorcycles and spending time with his family. He was a very strong and whole-hearted man. He was kind and courageous, brave and unselfish, and compassionate and loving. He was a devoted husband, son, father, brother, and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Charlie Millard.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Valerie Hale; son, Cole Millard; daughter, Victoria Millard; parents, Lisa Moncier and Clay Owens; brothers, Gene Moncier and Chad Moncier; grandchildren, Takota Massengill, Colt Mullins (on the way); uncle, Corey Millard; maternal grandparents, John and Mary Millard; and paternal grandparents, Henry and Barbra Owens.

The family will hold a memorial service at Companion Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 12:00PM until 4:00PM.
