James Wallace Collier

James Wallace Collier, 49, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away January 16, 2022, at a local hospital. Born October 6, 1972, to the late Charles W. Collier and Reta M. Collier. He was of the Baptist faith. James was a loving husband and wonderful father who loved helping others every chance he could. A man who could shine light in the darkest rooms. A ray of sunshine. He also loved hunting and four-wheeling.

Survived by his loving wife, Elena Collier; adopted son, Aaron (Bubba) Campbell; daughters, Gabrielle (Gabby) Collier and Courtney (Andy) Garrett; sister Rhonda (Steve) Snyder; grandchildren, Brandon (Big Boy) Moore, Jr., and Jocelyn (Sis) Garrett; special kids in his life, Logan Breedlove, Stephanie Huston, Nick Breedlove, Brandon Thompson, Kachey Barrios, Jayden “Squeaky” Plemons, and Jessica Ocana; a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, 2:00 PM at the church with Rev. Terry Couch officiating. Burial will be held at Earl’s Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
