James Satherlie

James Brent "Bud" Satherlie, age 32, born and raised in Athens, TN, went to his heavenly home on April 8th, 2025. He was of Christian faith and a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist church in Riceville, TN. Bud loved the Tennessee Vols and you rarely seen him not wearing his Volunteer clothes. He had a love for Dr. Pepper and all of his dogs.

Bud is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Brent Newberry and his Paternal grandfather, Billy Snyder.

Bud is survived by his loving parents, Jamey and Jamie Snyder of Athens, TN; sister, Jade Snyder and he Fiancé, Andrew Cass of Englewood, TN; maternal grandmother, Shirley Newberry of Cleveland, TN; paternal grandmother, Teresa Snyder of Englewood, TN; grandfather Dean Satherlie of Riceville, Tn; Beckie Perry of Riceville, TN; and a host of Aunts and Uncles.

Bud's family held a private service on Monday, April 14th, 2025 and he was laid to rest at Sunrise Cemetery.
