James Roy Sims, 88, a resident of Charleston, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 20, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sims; parents, Jack and Louella Sims; brother, George Lee; and sister, Louise Mysinger.
James leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving children, Savana Pirkle (Keith) and Linda Goble (Ray); brothers, Ray Sims (Reba), and Frank Sims; sister, Jeannie Sims; grandchildren, Clint Pirkle (Brandi), Kacey Schock (Michael), and Amy Blackwood (Derek); and 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday June 22, 2018 in the Union Grove Church of God Cemetery, in Charleston, Tennessee.
