James Lee Newman, 69, of Madisonville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at Sweetwater Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Verlin and Ruby Newman; son, James Lee Newman Jr.; daughter, Samantha Newman; sisters, Mary Miller and Leisha Mobley.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Laureen Gunderson, Bradley Watson, Jay Newman, Emily Newman; sisters, Patricia Adams, Debbie (Joe) Heath and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Shoal Creek Baptist Church, where he was a member.
