Jimmy Miller

Jimmy Miller, age 89, born October 11, 1936 passed away at his home on Thursday April 30, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his cherished son Tim Miller and treasured canine companions Colby and Snowball.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Ruth Miller; son Dr. Jeffrey Lynn Miller, and grandsons Jack and Nathaniel Miller.

Mr. Jimmy served in the National Guard for over ten years. He worked at the TNT plant for many years. He retired from Olin Chemical after 25 years of service.

A well known member of the Georgetown community where he and his beloved bride of 66 years, Annie Ruth, lived their entire life. Their door was always open but most people enjoyed fellowship on the porch.

Mr. Jimmy loved nothing better than to be on the tractor in the hay field or to be working on something, whether it needed fixing or not. He always had a story to tell. His parting words to visitors-I'm glad you got to see me. His sense of humor will be sorely missed especially by all his neighbors.

Jimmy's family will receive friends from 6pm until 7pm on Tuesday May 5th in the Ridge Sanctuary of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 7pm with Rev. David Evans officiating.
