James Matthew Burns

Obituary

James Matthew Burns, 51, of Cleveland, TN, and formerly of Columbus, OH, passed away August 18, 2015. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, July 21, 1964. Jim graduated Marion-Franklin High in 1983 and attended DeVry. He worked much of his life in retail management and most recently was a familiar face at Harry's on Springplace.

Preceded in death by his parents Bill and Phyllis Burns, brother Jack Burns, and brother-in-law Gary Evans.

He is survived by his wife Anna-Marie and their children Jaime and Matthew, daughter Mallory, brothers and sisters Larry, Karen(Ned) Loughborough, Libby(Ron) Thomas, Mark(Lois), Tom(Jill), Linda Evans, and Kathie(Keith) Hatton.

Family and friends will gather at Companion Funeral Home located at 2419 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311 Friday August 21, 2015 from 1:00pm-3:00pm with a short, informal service to follow.
