James "Jim" Henry Fedraw, Jr., 84, of Cleveland entered his eternal rest in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. Jim was born on March 8,1941 in Detroit, MI, the first of 5 children to James Henry Fedraw, Sr. and Margaret Holman Fedraw. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Sadie Kenny; father-in-law Robert Kenny; brother-in-law Gary Gaul, brother-in-law Greg Wilson (Becky), brother-in-law Carl Sheldon (Gail), brother-in-law Steven Kenny. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Susan Fedraw; daughter, Heather Ryder (David) of Calhoun, TN; sons, James Fedraw III, and Michael Fedraw of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Carol Peludat of Allendale, MI, and Bette Baumia of Lincoln Park, MI; brothers, Kenneth Fedraw (Linda) of Booneville, MO, and Marlan Fedraw (Judy) of Brighton, MI; brother-in-law, Douglas Kenny of Auburn, NH; sister-in-law, Gail Sheldon of Milton, VT, and sister-in-law Becky Wilson of Hinsdale, NH; grandson, Nathan Terry of Tracy, CA; granddaughter, Alyssa Garcia (Eric) of Fresno, CA, and Jenna Ramirez (Jesus) of Salida, CA; great-grandson, Aiden Terry of Stockton, CA, Isaiah Ramirez, and Elias Ramirez, with many nieces and nephews.
Jim enlisted in the Navy January 5, 1961 and served two tours of duty. He was first assigned to the U.S.S. Brownson (DE-1043) and then on February 15, 1965, he was assigned to the U.S.S. Edward McDonnell (DE-1043) being built in New Orleans and was a member of the original crew. He was honorably discharged from the Navy on August 15, 1969 after serving 8.5 years. While in the Navy as an Electronic Technician he attended a total of 11 schools in San Franciso, CA, Vallejo, CA, and Stockton, CA. He was a loving husband and father and enjoyed spending time with his family, camping traveling, bowling, electronics, watching NASCAR, and Fox News programs.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, February 15,2026 at The Branches Church of the Nazarene located at 2712 Henderson Ave, Cleveland, TN 37312. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm til 4:00pm with the Celebration of Life Service following at 4:00pm with Rev. BJ Miller and Rev. R. David O'Neal officiating. In lieu of flowers please send donations in James' memory to The Branches Church of the Nazarene, 114 Stuart Road NE #332 Cleveland, TN 37312-5084.
