James Gregory (Greg) Dean

James Gregory (Greg) Dean, 65, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. Greg is now sleeping, waiting on God's soon return.

Greg was born at Tri County Hospital, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, on March 30, 1959, to Gladys (Tudor) and Melvin Dean.

Greg lived all of his life in Chattanooga Valley, GA. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching football, and listening to classic country music. His most precious joy was his great-niece, Mary Leigh and niece, Dee.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Gladys Tudor Dean; his eldest brother, Roger Dale Dean.

Greg is survived by his brothers, Stanley (Karen) Dean, Steven (Suzy) Dean; sisters, Elaine (Victor) Chambers; great-niece, Mary Leigh Gladden; niece, Dee Dempsy; friend Eddie Gladden; a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held February 2, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M., at the Rossville SDA Church, Rossville, GA
