James Edward "Eddie" Branam

James Edward "Eddie" Branam, 77, passed away on September 10, 2025. He was born to the late Willie and Elsie Branam on October 15, 1947 in Cleveland, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his siblings. Louella (Bill) Goodwin, Betty (Joe) Walker, Luke Brogdon, Frances (Charles) Smith, Edna (Nate) Parton, Mark (Geree) Brogdon, Alma Walters, Mary (Bud) Burton, and Shirley (Roy) Branam.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathy Ann Branam, sons, Little Eddie (Danielle) Branam, Jimmy Branam, Jerry (Sonya) Branam, and Shannon (Melissa) Holcome, daughter, Rita Burton, step-children, Tonya Holcombe and Chris (Caressa) Powers, sister, Lurrie (Charles) Edwards, sister-in-law, Mamie Brogdon, and brother-in-law, Bob Walters, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 5:00-8:00pm at Companion Funeral Home- The Ridge Sanctuary.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 12:00pm at Companion Funeral Home- The Ridge Sanctuary, with Pastor Roger Green officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 11:00am-12:00pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
