Jacqueline Ann Laginess, 71 of Georgetown, Tennessee passed away on 8/23/2026. She was a resident of the area for almost 40 years. Growing up in rural Monroe County, Michigan, Jackie enjoyed horseback riding, 4H Club and the county fair. She attended St. Mary's High School and Wayne County Community College where she received an Associate's Degree.

After training as an occupational therapist in Petersburg, Virginia, she traveled to Tennessee where she fell in love with the country lifestyle and found fulfilling work at Life Bridges. She was an avid equestrian competing in many events. Her hobbies included needlework, crochet, and even raising goats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and MaryAnn Laginess. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sister Janice (Michigan), brother John (Carol), Virginia, brother James (Shari), Colorado. Nephews Eric, Justin, and niece Kelli Laginess as well as many aunts and uncles and cousins.

Jackie's friends in Tennessee became family as well. Carolyn and Randall Moore and their many nieces and nephews were very dear to her.

A private ceremony will be held at a date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society
