Jacob Holmes

Jacob Hunter Holmes, age 22, of Philadelphia, Tennessee, passed away on July 17, 2025. He was born on January 23, 2003, in Calhoun, Georgia.

Jacob was a true country soul who found his greatest joy in the simple things-fishing, camping, and spending time in the great outdoors. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by family and friends in the beauty of God's creation. With a heart as big as his smile, Jacob was known as a gentle giant-a kind, generous young man who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

To those who knew him, Jacob was more than just a loved one-he was your "ride or die," always standing by the people he cared for, no matter the circumstances. His family was his world, and his love for them was deep and unwavering. He carried within him a sweet, tender spirit and a rare authenticity that left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Jacob is survived by his loving parents, Brad and Jessica Letterman of Philadelphia, TN; his brother, Jhonathan Holmes (Abby) of Greenback, TN; his grandparents, Zendall Green of Hastings, FL; Shirley Green of Decatur, TN; and Sarah Bean of Greenback, TN.

He also leaves behind his step-siblings: Audrey Letterman, Heidi Smith, Haylee Letterman, Bradley Letterman, and Shelby Waldrop; as well as many cherished cousins, including Jesse Cole Lankford, Janice, Bruce, Teresa Hazelwood, Jocylyn Weaver, and Sarah Corum.

Jacob's absence leaves a hole in the hearts of all who loved him, but his memory will forever live on in the stories, laughter, and love he so freely shared.
