Jackie Doyle Gibson

Jackie Doyle Gibson, 83, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at a local healthcare facility. Jackie was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, and hike. He was also a part of a several gospel singing groups which he traveled with and had a great passion for. Jackie was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Gibson; parents, Tom L. Gibson and Annalou Morgan Gibson; sister, Judy Gray.
Jackie is survived by his daughters, Janet Cody, Sandy Andies (James Peewee), and Kathy Ervin (Andy); grandchildren, Jana Hays (Chris), Cristy Ownby (Chad), Dustin Ingram, Zach Andies, Casey Waddle (Rob), and Dr. Haley Shepherd (Matt); great grandchildren, Kaylee, Tucker, Brody, Ryleigh, Colby, Emery, Jake, Maggie, and Kensi; brother, Tommy Gibson (Naomi). As well as many other extended family.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 1-3pm at Companion Funeral Home: Cleveland Chapel with no formal service following. There will be a private family graveside ceremony held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
