Jr. Godfrey

I.W. Godfrey, Jr., 86, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 6, 2025 at Bradley Medical Center. He was an Army Veteran and served in Germany. He retired from Bowater, where he worked for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Ethel Godfrey and his brother Robert Godfrey.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Beverly Godfrey; brother Gary (Margaret) Godfrey and nieces Margaret and Melissa.

Jr. will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery with a committal service to be Monday, June 23, 2025 at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Caring Place located at 2400 Bower Lane, Cleveland, TN.
