Ida (Flemmer) Lehmann, was born on March 15, 1932 on the family farm near Lehr, ND. She was the daughter of Emilia (Werth) and Jacob Flemmer. Ida grew up and attended elementary school near Lehr. She attended high school at Sheyenne River Academy in Harvey, ND and also attended Minot State College.
Ida married Merle Lehmann on June 28, 1951 in Lehr. They lived on the Lehmann family farm near McClusky, ND. They have four children: Karen Rohrich - Fargo, ND, Keith Lehmann - Pheonix, AZ, Karla (Neil) Martwick - McClusky, ND, and Ken (Melanie) Lehmann - Cleveland, TN, along with 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Ida taught country school for five and a half years in the McClusky area and together, her and Merle owned and operated Lehmann Grains Inc., as well as, ran the family farm with cows and crops. After retiring in 2005, they moved into town.
Ida had a passion for Scripture, sharing the Gospel, working with children at VBS, and gardening. Her and Merle loved to travel and visited several countries throughout the world; building churches and schools with Maranatha.
Ida and Merle moved to Collegedale, TN in 2016 into an assisted living facility and she had recently relocated to Cleveland, TN.
Ida went to rest on September 3, 2025 in Cleveland, TN - awaiting the resurrection and her home with her Lord.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five sisters - Ruby, Lillian, Mabel, Alta, and Erna, two brothers - Ray and Leo, and great-grandson, Josh, and Son-in-law - Lauren Murray.
She is survived by her four children, eleven grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
