Howard "Alan" Rogers

Alan Rogers, 73 of Chattanooga, departed this life on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at a local hospital. Born on November 4, 1947 to the late Howard and Ginny Gilley Rogers, he was a native and lifelong resident of Hamilton County and was of the Baptist faith. Alan was a veteran of the United States Army and proudly served his country in Vietnam and retired from Meristar after twenty plus years of service. He loved hunting, going to the beach, and spending time with his family.
Left behind to cherish Alan’s memory are his daughter, Ginny(Adam) Stubhart; grandchildren, Lexi and Asher Stubhart; brother, Terry(Wanda) Rogers; good friend and former spouse, Susan Rogers; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be held privately at a later date.
