Horace Junior Buckner

Horace “Junior” Buckner, 77, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Friday April 28, 2017. He was dearly loved by all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his father, Horace Buckner Sr; children, Kimberly Mae Buckner and John David Buckner; and brother, James Edward Buckner.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 45 years, Vickie Buckner; children, Jim Vaughn (Stormy); 11 grandchildren; sister, Joyce Mantooth (Fred), of Crandall, GA; brother, Dewayne “Butch” Buckner, of Dalton, GA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday April 30, 2017 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
The family will receive friends one hour prior on Sunday, from 2:00pm until the 3:00pm service time.
Junior will be laid to rest on Monday May 1, 2017 at 11:00am at the Land’s Chapel Cemetery in Tellico Plains, TN.
