Hervey Etta Self

Hervey Etta McClure Self, 93, passed away August 27, 2017. She was born May 11, 1924 to Warner and Caroline McClure. She was a secretary, homemaker, and also a caregiver. She was a longtime member of the Mobile SDA Church and is a current member of the Collegedale SDA Church. Hervey enjoyed reading, crosswords, and sewing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Amos C. Self, along with six brothers and a sister.
Survived by her children, Charles C. Self (Amelia Wilbanks), Robert D. Self (Ruth Crouch), Donald R. Self (Beverley Moon), Lisa Annette Self Woodruff (Johnny Woodruff); brother, Charles McClure; along with 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and several sisters-in-law. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to Hospice of Chattanooga or the Alzheimer's Association.
