Henry Lee Best

Henry Lee Best, age 66 of the Ten Mile community, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents Lee and Nellie Best and his sister Carolyn (Best) Sartin.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother Wayne Best of Michigan, sisters Beverly (David) Chambers of Rockford, Elizabeth (Birdie) Greene of Knoxville, Wanda (Best) Davis of Sweetwater, special nephew; Ken Jo Brooks, his lifelong fishing partner, and many nieces and nephews. Also, his first girlfriend, Betty June (Mitchell) Smith and his last one.

Henry worked at Monterey Mushroom in Louden, Tennessee off and on for the last thirty five years, working for Bob Emery for the last twenty five years.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
