Hazel Louise Collins, age 76, of Decatur, TN, went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2026. She was born on May 1, 1950, to the late William and Mary Ellen Goins.

Hazel loved the Lord, and there is no doubt that she is celebrating in His presence, completely healed and whole. She was a sassy, strong-willed, and godly woman whose faith and love for her family were evident to all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by several siblings and one sweet great-grandchild, Haven.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of nearly 50 years, Bobby Collins; their children, Beth Bottoms and son-in-law, Joe, and Robert Collins and daughter-in-law, Velma; five wonderful grandchildren; and three precious great-grandchildren; sister, Molly Shelton; along with several other extended family members and friends. 

Hazel enjoyed sewing, reading, and cooking for her family. Above all, she loved spending time with the people she loved most, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The memories she made with her family will be treasured for generations to come.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Lakeside Baptist Church in Ten Mile, TN, with Pastor Grant Hamilton officiating. All are invited to attend and celebrate Hazel's life and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

Hazel's memory will be cherished, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
