Hazel "Bunny" Ray

On Wednesday July 26,2023 Bunny Ray, 71 years of age passed away peacefully at her residence in Chickamauga, Georgia. She is resting in the arms of Jesus now, being serenaded by angels where she suffers no more.

Bunny was surrounded by her dearest friend Pat and husband David, also her Caris hospice caregivers and friends she had made during her time here in Chickamauga. She was so loved by many past and present.

Her talents and love for decorating, gardening, refinishing furniture and oh what a good Southern cook she was. Bunny was small in stature with a huge heart full of love and was such a giver. She treasured her past and wonderful memories of growing up as well as the valleys of life she walked thru.

Bunny’s faith in our lord was so strong as she was a witness to all who came to know her. Bunny will be missed but her memory will live on. Thanks to all who served her during her 5 years of illness!
