Grover Lee Kent, 82, passed away on May 31, 2025. He was born to the late Elmer L and Ora J Kent on August 15, 1942 in Asheville, North Carolina.

In addition to his parents, Grover is preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne Kent of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Donald Kent of Madison County, North Carolina.

Grover is survived by his brothers, Omar Kent of Asheville, North Carolina; Wilson Kent of Hickam Cove, North Carolina; Ronnie Kent of Asheville, North Carolina; sister, Janet Powel of Lenoir, North Carolina; children, Ricky Kent of Charleston, Tennessee; Grover R. Kent of Asheville, North Carolina; 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
