Grace H. Roberts

Grace H. Roberts, 92, of Cleveland, TN, went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 11, 2020. She was a member of North Cleveland Church of God and the Unity Sunday School class for 40 years. She was also a former member of the church choir and served on the grievance committee for 19 years. Grace is known for her many talents: wedding cakes, crocheting, ceramics, quilting, porcelain dolls, stuffed dolls, flower arrangements, cooking and baked goodies.

Preceded in death by her father, Mack Higginbotham; mother, Mary Higginbotham; sisters, Louise Carter and Maxine Jones; brother, Lannie Higginbotham; son, Phil Allen; grandsons, Del Allen and Jonathan Sims; stepson, Byron Roberts.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Eugene (Gene) Roberts; son, Paul ( Sandra) Allen; daughter, Delores (Joe) Sims, daughter-in-law, Beverly Allen; sons, Steven Allen, Glen (Sandy) Carter; step-sons, David and Jeff Roberts; grandchildren, David (Tara) Allen, Holly Blair, Niki (Ashley) Sullivan, Rusty (Kaye) Powell, Jennifer Powell, Robbie (Leslie) Sims, Jacqueline (Dayton) Clayton, Josh (Laura) Allen, Stacey Woods; Stephanie Vorous, Jessica (Gary) Pearce, Amanda (Martin) Miles, Fran (Brett) Cannon and Matthew Roberts; 18 great-grandchildren. The family sends special thanks to the staff of Bradley Health Care’s Sunshine room. God Bless them.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 12 Noon-1:00 PM at Companion Funeral Home-Cleveland, with the service to begin at 1:00 PM in the chapel with Pastor Mitch Maloney officiating. Burial will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Cleveland, TN.
