Gloria Sanders

Gloria Lorinda "Parnell" Sanders, 83, of Cleveland, TN passed away on July 20, 2025.

She was born in Anderson, South Carolina to the late William and Venice Parnell. She was a precious caregiver, cherished mother, and loving wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved Jesus with all she had. She was a cancer survivor and shared God's love with anyone who would listen.

In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sanders and sister Mary (Albertine) Sanders.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons: Bryan E. Sanders (Tracey) and Kevin S. Sanders (Nichole); daughter Jaime Sanders; grandsons: Phillip Sanders (Alina), Aaron Reed (Katy), Hunter Taylor, and Jordan Taylor; great grandchildren: Maddox, Raylen, Avah, Tucker, Emma, Jackson, and Lucas.

A celebration of Gloria's life will be held on Friday July 25th at Peerless Road Church at 12pm with Pastor Adam Jones officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church from 10am until the 12pm service time. She will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery after the service.

Gloria's family would also like to thank Debbie Griffith for her loving care to our mother for the past few years.
