Gladys Floyd

Gladys Ledford Floyd, 82, passed away on September 1, 2025. She was born on February 11, 1943, to the late John and Allie (Prince) Ledford.

Gladys was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in gardening and caring for her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, R.L., and Ralph Ledford; sisters, Stella Grigg and Emma Ingram; and several beloved in-laws.

Gladys leaves behind her loving husband of 64 years, Clyde Floyd; her children, Cathie (Randy) Lee, Sheila (Steven) Nichols, and Donna (Gary) Mingie; grandchildren, Lauren (Garren) Moore, Ryan (Emily Woodson) Skiba, Chase (Victoria) Skiba, Taylor (Shanna) Nichols, and Isaiah (Alix) Mingie; and great-grandchildren, Samantha, Summer, Saylor, Avery, Jude, Bentley, Ezra, Jax, Carter, Cash, and Ryan Jr.

She is also survived by special friends and family: Rev. Jeannie Cissom, Rev. Ronnie Ledford, Glen and Holly Banks, Rev. Gary and Sharon Nelson, Bert (Joanne) Bates, and Junior Phillips.
