Gerald David Brewer Jr., 55, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on August 14, 2026. He was born on July 13, 1971, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Gerald David Brewer Sr. and Sandra Kay Jewell Brewer.

Gerald attended First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee. Most recently, he was employed by the Bradley County Road Department. Prior to that, he served as a member of the Rhea County Sherrif's Office and Bradley County Fire and Rescue.

Gerald had a love for life and especially enjoyed traveling, spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, Jeep riding, coaching baseball, sitting around campfires, and listening to storms. Those who knew him will remember the many good times, stories, and memories shared along the way.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald David Brewer Sr.; his grandparents, Jim and Edith Wise; his son, Dalton Brewer and sister Brandi Brewer.

Gerald leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, Joshua Brewer (Emmie), Sydney Brewer (Dalton Payne), Abbie Huddleston (Nick Miller), and Tucker Brewer; his beloved "partner in crime," Tammy Wingo; his mother, Sandra Kaye Jewell; and his siblings, Justin Painter (Michelle), Shonna Ellis (John), and Cody Brewer.

He also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends, as well as his beloved pets, Archie and Edith. Gerald will also be deeply missed by his special friends, Mike Patterson and Eddy Grider (Stephanie).

Gerald's family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at First Baptist Church, located at 1275 Stuart Road in Cleveland, Tennessee. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 5:00 p.m., with Pastor Frank Walker officiating.

John Ellis, Josh Brewer, Aaron Wood, Eddie Grider, Mike Patterson, Jimmy Woody, Rusty Rymer, and Dewey Woody will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of Bradley County Fire and Rescue and the Bradley County Road Department.
