Gene Daniel

Gene Daniel, 89, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. He was born on March 16, 1936. He started his mining career at 12 years old, began driving a single-axel dump truck at 15, and eventually retired when he was 70.
He is survived by his son Gary Gene Daniel.
Visitation will be held from 11:00AM until 2:00PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Companion Funeral Home located at 6018 John Douglass Drive in Chattanooga. A Celebration of Gene’s Life will begin at 2:00PM in the Chapel with Anthony Chambers officiating.
