Gary Wayne Cooper

Gary Wayne Cooper, 66, a longtime resident of Athens, TN passed away on Monday morning, October 8, 2018 at his home. He was born in LaFollette, TN on January 17, 1952 a son of the late Warren & Arizona Cooper. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. Gary worked construction for the majority of his life and was retired from TDOT.
Gary leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Susan Cooper, two sons Justin Cooper and Christopher Cooper and wife Amber, four grandchildren Zoe Cooper, Christian Cooper, Richie Cooper and Bri Barrett, one brother Larry Cooper and wife Sharon, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
