Gary Lee Everhart, 73, of Cleveland/Bradley County TN. Passed away on May 29, 2026. He was a resident of the area for 19 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, watching Westerns and time with his family. He was an avid reader, leathersmith and chandler. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back, big hearted, an animal lover, funny and most of all rooted in his faith. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather & Great-Grandfather.
He was preceded in death by William L. Everhart (Father) & Betty L. Benjamin (Gheen/Mother).
He leaves behind in his memory his Wife Evelyn J. Everhart of 36 years, Daughters Ginny Stanley, Eleni Sansone (Phil), Candice Rutherford (Johnny), son Bryan Taylor (Stephanie). Brothers Billy Benjamin & William Benjamin. Granddaughters Jennifer Swan (Dylan), Emily Robinson (Reid), Leah Worrell (Thomas), Leah Renslow (Aric), Savana Rutherford, Caylie Taylor, Alexis Taylor, Kylie Taylor. Grandsons Austin Rutherford (Sierra), Joey Sansone, Cody Rutherford (Hailie), Payton Rutherford, Jaxon Rutherford, Lucas Rutherford & Ashton Stanley (Skylar & children). Great-Grandchildren Joey Cassano, Dylan Swan II, Myla Swan, Nehemiah Swan, Ayiana Swan, Emberlee Rutherford, Everleigh Taylor & T.J. Worrell.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on June 13, 2026 at Companion Funeral Home Chapel located at 2412 Georgetown Rd. NW Cleveland, TN. 37311. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 4 p.m. with Johnny Rutherford officiating.
