Garland Womack, 77, of East Brainerd, Chattanooga, TN, passed away July 20, 2026.

Born November 3, 1948, Garland lived a quiet life and found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He especially enjoyed watching The Price Is Right, old Westerns, and spending time with those he loved.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Debbie Womack, and his loving sisters, Frankie, Deborah, and Norma.

Garland grew up attending church and accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. His faith remained an important part of his life. One of the sweetest memories his youngest sister will always cherish is Garland singing "I'm Climbing Jacob's Ladder" to her at bedtime. It was a simple act of love that has remained close to her heart through the years.

Garland will be missed by all those who loved him. Though our hearts are saddened by his passing, we find comfort in God's promise and the hope of seeing him again.

A private graveside service for family will be held to celebrate Garland's life and honor his memory.

"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
- John 14:1-3 KJV
