Gail Renee Henderson

Gail Renee Henderson, 55, of Cleveland, TN passed away on February 20, 2018. She was born on June 15, 1962 in Pontiac, Michigan. Renee has been a resident of Cleveland for 31 years, after moving here from Drayton Plains, Michigan to attend Lee University. She was an employee of Lee University, where she worked for the Office of Admissions. Those who knew Renee were very fond of her amazing gift of hospitality. From meals and events in her home, to generous contributions to various organizations, Renee enjoyed giving.
Renee also loved to decorate and place her own personal touches on the homes that she and her husband, Tim, built together. These homes have held wonderful memories throughout the years-memories that will be cherished for years to come. Some of the most important memories made were those with her sons. Cole, Conner, and Chase were the lights of Renee’s life. As often and as much as she enjoyed anything in her life, the boys (including Tim) were at the top of the list. She was a devoted Christ follower, a loving wife and mother, and friend to many who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her father-in-law Jim Henderson and brother-in-law David Henderson.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 32 years, Tim Henderson; three sons: Cole Henderson, Conner Henderson, and Chase Henderson; mother Gail Clark Lemmert and stepfather Albert Lemmert; father Bruce Parris; brother Randall Parris (Rhonda); mother-in-law Jean Street Henderson; brother-in-law Mike Henderson (Judy) and (Catherine Plate, Conner’s fiancé).
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm until 6:00pm on Thursday February 22, 2018 at First Baptist Church Cleveland located at 1275 Stuart Road, Cleveland, TN 37312. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00pm following the visitation, with Dr. Randall Parris officiating.
