Freeman Blaylock Jr.

Freeman Blaylock Jr., age 74, of Cleveland, TN, passed away peacefully from natural causes on August 13, 2026. Born on October 21, 1951, in Middlesboro, KY, Freeman dedicated much of his life to his work as a machinist for Dana Corporation in the manufacturing industry. He proudly served his country as a Specialist Four in the Army from February 1, 1971, to September 10, 1972, participating in tours during the Vietnam and Korean Wars.

Freeman was a devoted father and is survived by his son, Kristopher Blaylock and daughter Kasi Sinks; and daughter-in-law Jamie Blaylock. He is also remembered fondly by his siblings: sister Ann Woods, brother HC Hensley, brother Rick Hensley, sister April Bowman, and brother Vernon Blaylock.

A true outdoorsman, Freeman found joy and solace in fishing and camping. He cherished the memories made on countless fishing trips with family and friends, often accompanied by a cold beer. His hearty laugh and stories will be greatly missed around the campfire.
