Fred Jonathan "Jon" Whitt Jr.

Fred Jonathan "Jon" Whitt Jr., 64, passed away on August 26, 2026. He was born to the late Fred Whitt Sr. and Sybil J. Whitt on August 19, 1962 in Macon, Georgia.

Jon enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, and golfing.

Jon is survived by his wife, Tonia Whitt, daughter, Sybil Kaylee Whitt, step-children, Emily (Ronnie) Parson, Jeremy (Ruth) Edwards, grandchildren, Avah Conley, Ethyn Youngs, Chloe Edwards, Kaidence Youngs, Kampbell Youngs, Stella Edwards, Silas Edwards, Ronnie Parson, Race Parson, Anna Blair Edwards, sisters, Cathy Wade, and Chris (Tony) Montgomery, niece, Anna Montgomery, and nephews, Dustin Wade, Jay Wade, Donald Hardy, and Harrison Montgomery.


A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at 2:30pm, at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
