Frank Lynn Bodine

Frank Lynn Bodine, Sr., age 83, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, peacefully departed this life on August 11, 2026, at his residence. Born on February 1, 1943, Frank was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and of the Baptist faith.

Frank was an avid race fan and loved motorcycles. He also worked most of his life in the automotive business.

He is preceded in death by his father, Earl B. Bodine and mother, Essie Lou Bodine.

Survived by his son, Lynn (Yvonne) Bodine, Jr.; daughter, Angie Scissom; grandchildren, Tyler (Kate) Scissom, Matt (Melissa) Bodine, Riley Bodine and Jessi Bodine; great-grandchildren, Madison and Eli Bodine; special friend and partner, Virginia James, along with many friends he regularly gathered with at Jack's each morning.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M, Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Chattanooga Memorial Park, 501 Memorial Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
