Behind her quiet nature was an incredibly quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor that those who knew her best will remember fondly.
Frances was a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, a published poet, and a gifted artist with a creative spirit. She loved to express herself through painting, photography, and many other creative pursuits.
Frances was preceded in death by her father, Frank Sanders; her beloved husband, Calvin Emerson; and her sister, Charlene Bauer. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Sanders; her brother, Bob Sanders and his wife, JoAnn; her sister, Jo Brown and her husband, Lyndon; and a host of nieces and nephews who were blessed to call her Aunt Frances or Aunt Franny.
Per her wishes, there will be no formal services. A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Frances's life and the many memories shared with those who loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever held close in our hearts.
