Florence Judy Boyd

Florence "Judy" Boyd, age 71, of Birchwood, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on May 30, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

A lifelong resident of Birchwood, Judy was deeply rooted in the community she called home. It was there that she met the love of her life, David F. Boyd. The two shared 37 wonderful years of marriage before his passing, building a life centered on love, family, and cherished memories.

Judy had a passion for the outdoors and found great joy in hunting and fishing. While she enjoyed many hobbies and interests throughout her life, nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her family. She treasured every moment shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be carried forward for generations.

Known for her vibrant spirit, Judy loved to laugh and have fun with those around her. Her warm heart, welcoming smile, and genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Above all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and cherished friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years, David F. Boyd; her parents, Clarence and Viola Davis; her twin brother, Junior Davis; infant sister, Karen Davis; and brothers, Willard Davis, Jess Davis, and Terry Davis; and her sister Annie Watkins.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Sarah and David Boyd, Tammy and Gene Randolph, and Dale and Valorie Boyd; her sisters, Berleta Barbee and Jackie Ferry; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
