Fay Ed Turner

Fay Ed Peacock Turner, born in Chickamauga, GA, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026 in Cleveland, TN at 83 years of age. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, niece and friend. Fay embodied unconditional love, strength of spirit and an unending generosity that was seen in her care for her family and friends. Her passing leaves a void and her presence will be greatly missed.

Fay cared deeply about her family. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. Fay was a wonderful cook (the best according to her family). She also had a green thumb, enjoying time outside working in the yard and garden. Fay was an active and devoted member of Broad Street United Methodist Church in Cleveland, TN where she was instrumental in helping to start the Living Water Living Spirit Contemporary Service.

Fay is survived by her daughters, Paige Turner and Valerie Ethridge, son-in-law Derek, adored grandson Everett, siblings, Jenny Christol and Lindsey Peacock Jr, aunt Madge Ransom and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Joseph Turner, and her parents, Edgar Lindsey Peacock and Fay Ransom Peacock.

Fay's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. As her family and friends gather to celebrate her life, they'll cherish the love and memories that will always be in a special part of their hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on August 22, 2026 at Broad Street United Methodist Church, located at 155 Central Ave NW in Cleveland, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful if you could donate in Fay's memory to Broad Street United Methodist Church or a charity that's special to you.
