Evelyn Ann Clark entered the gates of Heaven on October 7th, 2026 in the presence of her loving husband, Steve, who never left her side. She was born on May 19, 1956 in Cleveland, TN to the late Billy and Maggie Trotter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Trotter.
Ann, better known as "Nanny" to her grandchildren, was an avid gardener and loved to tend to her beautiful flower beds. She was a phenomenal cook and loved to prepare meals and bake for her family. She loved the color pink and loved shopping. Holidays were always made special by her as she cultivated long lasting memories for her children and grandchildren.
Known for her beautiful singing voice, Ann spent time spreading the love of Jesus with multiple gospel singing groups down through the years. Some of her fondest memories include, traveling and taking trips with her husband, Steve, spending time and creating memories with her grandchildren, attending church and gospel singings, and enjoying time with her two sons, Chris and Chad. Her sweet disposition and outpouring love for her family will live on in their hearts forever.
Left to cherish her precious memory include her loving and devoted husband of 52 years Steve Clark, her children Christopher Clark (Jenifer), Chad Clark (Anna), sister Norma Ownbey (Gary), 8 grandchildren, Taylor Swemley (Kendall), BB Davis (Tyler), Brandon Clark (Teagan), Morgan Kyle (Caleb), Sara Beth Clark, Bailey Roseberry, Kenzie Roseberry, Trey Roseberry, and two great grandchildren, Arliss Swemley and Avery Henry.
A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 6:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel with Minister Eddie Watson officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm prior to the service.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
