Elmina Joseph

Elmina Joseph, 78, left this earth to join her Lord and Savior in her Heavenly home early Saturday morning on May 26, 2018. She was born on October 18, 1939 to Camil Joseph and Idalia Clervaut in Saint-Suzanne, Haiti.
Elmina loved getting up everyday to run her produce, spice, and herbs business. She was a cheerful giver, quick to rescue anyone in needs. Above all, she enjoyed laughter and would spend her every waking moments sharing jokes with others to stay happy and keep everyone around her the same. She will be forever remembered for her love of God, family, and all those she encountered.
Elmina is preceded in death by her loving parents listed above, three brothers and two sisters. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory:
son, Richard (Nicole) Parvilus; two daughters, Ginelle (Jean) J. Guirand and Gina Joseph; fifteen grandchildren, five boys and ten girls; two great-granddaughters; three brothers, Versainmar Saint-Hilaire, Pastor Jean Vixama, and Saint-Luc Vixama; sister, Afilia Vixama; a host of nephews, nieces, and other extended family members and friends also survive.
The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday June 3, 2018 at Companion Funeral Home located at 2415 Georgetown RD NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00am at the funeral home on Monday June 4, 2018. Interment will follow at Lee Cemetery.
