Edwin "Eddie" Dunn

Edwin “Eddie” Hill Dunn, 76, a longtime resident of Old Fort, TN passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018. Eddie served his country in the Tennessee National Guard. He was a longtime owner of M and V Carpet, after which he became a truck driver until he was unable to continue working. He was a member and former deacon of Beech Springs Baptist Church. A master wood worker as well as a jack of all trades, Eddie was a well-loved, generous man and adopted father to many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Hill Dunn and Vera Vest Dunn; son, Michael Edwin Dunn.
Eddie leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Virginia Lee Gaston Dunn; daughter, Virginia Michelle and husband Allen Fugate; as well as several extended family members.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 6-8pm with a celebration of life service starting at 8pm, all taking place at Beech Springs Baptist Church.
