Edwin Earl Penney

Edwin Earl Penney, 89, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at a local healthcare facility. He was born on August 3, 1933, to the late Joe and Jane Penney. Edwin was an United States Army veteran and a member of the Shriners. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Penney; brothers, Murl Penney and BT Penney; and his sisters: Irma Holcomb, Edra Penney, and Wilma Watkins.

He leaves behind to treasure his memory his sister, Emma Tucker of Chickamauga, GA; special friends, Mike and Karen Lawson of Birchwood, TN; niece and caregivers, Randy and Sharon Howard of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Companion Funeral Home Cleveland Chapel on Friday, April 28, with a visitation from 11am-2pm and a service at 2pm. There will be a graveside service to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
