Edward Parsons

Edward Sherman Parsons, 86, of Tunnel Hill, GA passed away on September 7, 2024. He was born on October 27, 1937 to the late Sherman Parsons and Farris Parsons Hughes. he retired from J&J Industries in Dalton, GA. He was a Baptist minister for over 60 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Winnie Parsons, of 65 years; son-in-law Bill Muse of East Ridge, TN; siblings: Fred Parsons of Ringgold, GA and Virginia Keith of Chatsworth, GA.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Janice Muse of East Ridge, TN; grandson Brandon Craig (April) of Dalton, GA; sisters Thelma Hinds and Rhonda Clayton of Apison, TN; Peggy Cabe, Stella Jenkins, Norma Hodge of Ringgold, GA; Brenda Clowers of Cleveland, TN; brothers Gary Parsons of Dry Branch, GA and Leonard Parsons of Rock Springs, GA; special nephew Ronnie Hinds.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Crystal Smith and Kristina Jeffreys of Hearth Hospice for the loving care they provided.

Edward will be laid to rest at 1pm on Wednesday September the 11th at New Friendship Cemetery in Ringgold, GA beside his wife, Winnie.
