Eddie Hoover of Dayton, Tennessee, passed peacefully in his home on November 19th, 2025.
Born on September 6th, 1970, Eddie grew up in Tifton, Georgia on his family's land lovingly known as the Fat Farm. His childhood was filled with outdoor adventures and rambunctious moments shared with his brother Danny and their many cousins. A natural leader from an early age, he proudly served as captain of his high school debate team and student body president. Even then, his presence was larger than life - he always had a gift for lighting up any room with laughter.
In 1996, he married Treva, and together they welcomed their daughter Raina. They became his whole world.
He loved live music, grilling for the whole family, watching college football (go Dawgs), and most of all reading, always seeking out stories and knowledge that broadened his understanding of life. He was known for his generosity, quick wit, and his ability to make people feel right at home.
After settling in Dayton, Eddie's home church became a steady support for him. He leaned into his faith and community, finding a renewed sense of purpose and peace amidst life's struggles. He believed deeply in living a life of service and in the value of hard work. He spent most of his career in the restaurant industry and took pride in the relationships he built through his work.
He leaves behind his wife, Treva Marie; his daughter, Raina Rose (Jack); his siblings Danny (Cindy), Abby, Ali (Caleb), and CJ (Elise); his brother-in-law Kevin (Erica); mother-in-law Sharon; father-in-law Kent (Patsy); his nieces and nephews Chloe (Eden), Seth (Sarah), Sam, Ashlynn, Char, Avery, and Savy; many cousins, aunts, and uncles; longtime friends he cherished; and, of course, his sweet pups, Charlie Rose and Daisy Mae.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clark and Carolyn; his beloved Mema; several loving aunts; and his niece Kelsi.
Those who knew him will never forget his passion for storytelling, his infectious laugh, and the way he loved others unconditionally. We will carry his light with us always, until we meet again.
An outdoor service will be held on his family's land (38 Edward Tyson Road, Tifton, Georgia 31794) on Saturday December 13th at 1:00PM.
