Edward Dale Carter

Edward Dale Carter, age 70, born November 2, 1955 in Akron Ohio passed away on September 20, 2026 after a long illness at his home Sweetwater, Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Marietta Catherine Carter of Doyle, Tennessee; father, Earl Henry Carter of Canal Fulton, Ohio; sister, Cheryl Anne Knowles of Doyle, Tennessee; nephew, Christopher Wayne Knowles of Doyle, Tennessee; grandfather, Smith Roger Swindle; grandmother, Ethel Hayes; grandparents, Homer and Minnie Carter, all of Doyle, Tennessee.

He is survived by wife of 44 years, Betty Louise Hayes Graham Carter; son, Travis Clayton Ray Graham; grandson, Austin Ryan Graham.

Ed attended White County High School. He was a factory worker, semi truck driver, and business owner for over 20 years. He was a wonderful father, husband, and grandfather that took care of his family. Ed was a good friend to his best friend of 30 years Marty Rogers.
