Edna Shields

Edna Shields, 72, passed away on October 21, 2023, in Cleveland, TN.

She was a loving and devoted "Nanny" who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren.

Edna is survived by daughters Robbin Swindle and Pam Haggard; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters Naomi Prince and Ethelene Graham, brother Jerry Dixon. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Edna is preceded in death by Isom Floyd - father, Elizabeth Floyd - mother; Husband William Shields; and daughter Tammy Smith; and grandson Edward Swindle, brothers Johnny Floyd and Allen Floyd, and sister Lucille Nichols.

The service for Edna Shields will be held on Tuesday, at 1:00 PM at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Cleveland.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, at 11:00 AM until funeral at 1pm at the at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service - Cleveland. Burial will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery, in Cleveland, TN.
