Edith Hill

Edith Lorene Hill, 76, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away April 22, 2024, at a local hospital. She was born June 12, 1947, to the late William Vernon Hill and Edna Blevins in Harvey, IL. Edith loved all sports. She was a big TN fan and loved watching Steph Curry play basketball. Edith was like a mother & nana to her siblings, nieces, and nephews. Edith worked and retired from Simco Leather Company.

Edith is preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Blevins; brother, William Hill, and niece, Jackie Hudnall.

Survived by her brothers, Robert (Jamie) Blevins, of Chatsworth, GA, Milton Blevins, of Rossville, GA; sisters, Peggy Moore, of Cleveland, TN, Carol (Terry) Troxell, of Chattanooga, TN, and Georgia Webb, of Dayton, TN; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM-4:00 PM, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Companion Funeral Home-Chattanooga location, 6018 John Douglas Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37421, followed by the service. Father Tomas Law, OSJ officiating.
