Earl Ruben Ricker, 61, of Decatur passed away on September 8, 2026.

Earl was an outdoorsman at heart who found great joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time in nature. He especially enjoyed picking berries and being outdoors whenever he could. Earl was known for his kind and generous heart and his willingness to help others. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His caring nature and the kindness he showed to others will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.

Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Hazel Ricker; friend/brother, Bob Welch; and some siblings.

Survivors include his significant other, Mary Bonds; dear friends, Rick and Wanda; special friends, Caleb and Mike Graham, Tony Phillips, Fred Walker, Eddie Petitt, Everett, Becky Reynolds, and Bonnie, Bentley and Shane; children who he loved as his own, Nikki and Stephanie; grandchildren, Cody and Correy; great grandchildren, Casslyn and Delaney; and many other loved family and friends.

There will be no formal services held at this time.
