Earl Leroy Cropf, born October 31, 1939, in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully from natural causes August 11, 2025, at the age of 85. A resident of Charleston, TN, Earl was a devoted husband to late wife Constance Cropf and a loving father to his surviving children: Cheryl Lutz, Rose Henry, Joanne Faus, Douglas Cropf and Anna Cargile. Earl loved, and was very proud of. his 17 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Earl proudly served in the National Guard and later dedicated his career as a Tool & Dye Maker in the tool manufacturing industry. His skills and expertise were widely recognized, and he took great pride in his work. Beyond his professional life, Earl was passionate about restoring antique cars, a hobby that brought him immense joy and allowed him to connect with friends and fellow enthusiasts.
Earl's legacy is one of love, craftsmanship, and dedication to family. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. In line with his wishes, Earl's remains were cremated, and a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Earl was preceded in death by: parents Clyde and Anna Cropf; wife Constance Cropf; son John Johnson; daughter Cindy Schanne; and granddaughter Grace Henry.
