Douglas Arnold "Pappy" Davis

Douglas “Pappy” Davis, 89, passed away at home on Thursday, July 22, 2021. He was born to the late Lloyde and Ida Davis on May 29, 1932.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Betty Davis; one daughter, Tina Sylvester; two great grandsons, Zack Sheridan, and Maverick Lance.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children, Mickey Kirkland, Karen Davis, Sonny and Linda Davis, and Cheri and Johnny Sullivan; 11 grandchildren; 40 great- grandchildren; 12 great-great- grandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Hiwassee Church of God Cemetery at 3:00pm
