Dorothy Hilliard

Dorothy Hilliard, age 95 of Cleveland, departed this life on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at a local healthcare facility. Born on August 12, 1926 to the late John and Annalee Hillard, she was a native and lifelong resident of Polk and Bradley Counties.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by five siblings, Johnnie Bell, Wallace Hilliard, Garland Hillard, Randall Hillard, and Bobby Hilliard.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her sister, Ruby Johnson; sister-in-law, Anne Hilliard; nieces and nephews, Garland and Jan Hillard, Walter and Shelia Brewer, Bruce Hilliard, Grace Johnson, Lisa and Jason Calfee; as well as several great and grea-great nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Dorothy Hilliard will be held at 3p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2022 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Ball Play Cemetery with Steve Goodwin, Elijah Hilliard, Evan Nunley, Logan Nunley, Griffin Smith, and Zach Thompson serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 1p.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday.
